I am a academic philosopher, clinical psychologist, and psychotherapist in advanced training specialising in psychodynamics therapy.

I received my Dr. phil. from the DFG-funded Research Training Group “Extrospection” at the Berlin School of Mind and Brain and University of Magdeburg. I hold a B.A. and an M.A. in Psychology from the International Psychoanalytic University Berlin, as well as an M.A. in Philosophy from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. I am currently working as a postdoctoral researcher at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, where I conduct both empirical and philosophical research.

My current therapeutic training focuses on psychodynamic psychotherapy, especially Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Therapy (ISTDP). I am lecturing on psychodynamic psychotherapy and publish on clinical, theoretical and historical aspects of the field.

I am also active in professional politics as member of the Board of the German Society for Psychodynamic Therapy (DFT). And active as member of the Görres Society for the Cultivation of Science, including its Young Forum. Previously, I served as an Open Science Ambassador for the Berlin University Alliance and as an alumnus of the Oxford-Berlin Research Partnership Programme.
